Study of the diverse topics related to roles, behaviors and stereotypes attributed to men and women, as well as the new theoretical and methodological approaches on this area. That includes feminist studies, transfeminism, masculinities, and also an analysis of sexual diversity, LGBTIQ* and queer-cuir studies, understanding it as the multiplicity of non-normative bodies, identities and gender expressions. The critical standpoint to functional diversity studies provided by the crip movement creates a common framework to question the bodies constructed as normalized and/or subjected to be so.

Mass media and communication will also be tackled: television, radio, press, internet, etc., as well as popular culture in its diverse manifestations: literary, musical, religious, artistic and in other modes of expression (comics, video games, animation).
